Four members of staff from Tabley House Nursing Home were recently treated to a lunch to celebrate their long service with the nursing home. Night Manager Cherry Faulkner and NVQ2 qualified Health Care Assistants Jayne Roberts and Moyra Long were celebrating 20 years each and NVQ2 qualified Nursing Assistant Sue Cragg a total of ten years.

They were taken out for lunch by Matron Karen Lynskey who has been at Tabley for almost ten years and Deputy Matron Jo Mainwaring who has worked there herself for over twenty years. This meant that the six ladies sat at the table had clocked up an incredible 100 years of combined service. Tabley House prides itself on the number of long serving employee’s and apart from the four treated on this occasion there are several other staff who have already passed the ten and twenty year mark.

The lunch was fantastic and everyone enjoyed reminiscing about their favourite memories and adventures whilst working at Tabley House – one thing was quite clear and that was the obvious pride staff took in promoting quality care at Tabley and in ensuring the residents are at the heart of what they do. Congratulations to all of them!
