The Lounge Room Lizards pay a visit to Tabley House Nursing Home

On Friday 23th September 2017 Tabley House residents enjoyed a visit from The Lounge Room Lizards, organised by the activities team.

Residents were able to interact with a variety of different animals including lizards, a pigmy hedgehog, rabbits, tortoises and a marmoset monkey called Millie.

Much to their own surprise all of the residents chose to either hold or stroke each of the creatures. The whole afternoon was full of fun and facts. A week on and the residents are still saying how much they enjoyed the afternoon.

“It was wonderful to be able to hold them because they felt nothing like you thought they would do.”Resident

The activity was a huge success which we hope to repeat in the New Year.
