Over the last month residents and staff at Tabley House Nursing Home have been raising money for two charities – Dementia UK and the Alzheimer’s Society.
They hosted a tea party and also held two ‘Name the Bear’ competitions, one for residents and another for staff and family members. JD won the resident’s competition with the name Paddington. The staff and family competition was won by our own Matron Karen with the winning name being Ben Bear. Karen donated Ben Bear to an upcoming ‘baby shower’ for one of the Tabley staff.
We would like to thank Carol for donating the bears. In all we raised £80.80 for these fantastic charities and would like to thank all who donated for their generosity.
